Title: Caramel Apple Cookies

1cBrown sugar
1/2cButter; softened
1 Egg
1tsVanilla
1 1/2cFlour
1tsBaking powder
1/2tsBaking soda
1tsCinnamon
1/4tsGround cloves
1/4tsNutmeg
1 1/2cApples; peeled & finely
  Chopped, about 2 apples
1cOats
1cRaisins
1/2cWalnuts; chopped
1/4cButter
1/4cBrown sugar
1 1/2cPowdered sugar
3 1/2tbMilk

Cream brown sugar and butter together. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Add to creamed mixture and blend thoroughly. Stir in apples, oats, raisins, and walnuts. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350F for 9 ~ 11 minutes. Cool while preparing frosting.

Caramel Frosting: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine butter and brown sugar. Cool and stir until sugar dissolves. Add powdered sugar and milk. Beat until smooth and creamy. Spread on cooled cookies.
